It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!!!

Thanks to everyone at Thanksgiving for helping to put up the tree and lightsWe had our Ward Christmas breakfast this morning. Hannah sat on Santa's lap. She didn't cry but didn't know what to think of him.

Hannah in her new dress from her Aunt Liz.
It is so adorable and perfect for Christmas

Hannah being Hannah
She loves to sit up now and smiles all day long. Being a parent is one of the most rewarding things ever. I love how excited she gets when you walk into the room and she see's you.

The weight update:

Today we had Hannah's weight check. Though she only gained 1.5 oz since her last visit (Weighing in at 10lb 9.5 oz) her Pediatrician said she looks healthy and is on track with everything else and won't need to do another weight check till her regular 9 month check. He just wants us to increase her food intake to 3 times a day plus bottles as normal. We are not concerned considering both her parents are small. I (Aleasha) was actually hospitalized when I was about 1 year for the same reason. They just determined that I was burning more that I was taking in (I sure wish I still had that trouble....ha,ha)

Learning through play

We spend time each day exploring and doing hands-on experiences

Hannah loves exploring with her little piano

Exploring with water

Visiting her class
We went into her old classroom to visit her teachers and friends. She was very excited to see everyone. Her teacher said she had to come visit to teach the other children "Baby 101" because she was always so happy and good for them.
BYU vs Idaho

We wondered how Hannah would do at the game..she was great. She enjoyed watching the people around us and watching the game.

When she got tired we just bundled her up extra and she slept next to us under the bench (One benefit from having seats so high up and lost of extra seats around us)

Halloween 2011

Our dental office gave all their patients tickets to the Thanksgiving Point's Cornbelly's event. It was really cold but Hannah loved seeing the pumpkins and watching the pig races.

Aleasha's former work did a "Parent's night out" where the children came for Halloween activities and the parents went out for a date night. Since we hadn't found an outfit for Hannah yet; we dressed her as a "monkey"; using her towel. She had fun and we were excited to go out on a date.

I didn't really want to spend very much on a costume since I figured she would be sleeping for most of the time we would do anything plus I couldn't find anything that was small enough for her. I considered buying a dog costume :) I finally found this costume on Halloween for 50% off. That is my kind of deal! She did as I predicted went to sleep early and woke up in time to see a few trick or treater's at our door. Now she can use it as PJ's.

I'm a big girl now...

Hannah loves to stand and does pretty good on her own if she is leaning against something.

"Thank Heaven for little girls"
This outfit is one that was handed down (Robert's sisters wore it when they were little). I love these clothes..they have a history behind them.

Thanks to Robert's cousin Paul (who actually won the tickets but wasn't able to attend); we were able to attend the BYU radio show with head coach Bronco Mendenhall. We had no idea what to expect but really enjoyed the experience. Thanks Paul!!!

Before the game they took us on a tour of the logue areas and we also got to see where ESPN broadcasts (the roof). That was an amazing view.

This is the amazing view of the field from where the radio show was done.

Our ride up the elevator to the president's lounge.

One of the guests was David Nixon who played for BYU and went on to play in the NFL

The other guest was Matt Putnam who is currently playing for BYU

At the end Coach Mendenhall selected a few of the audiences questions to answer. Robert's question was selected but they ended up only having time for one.

We picked the last of our spaghetti squash.. 11 to be exact plus we have 2 already in our kitchen. When we first planted we only intended on planting one plant but came home with two on accident. Looks like breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be spaghetti squash..ha, ha, Just kidding!

Love these two!!!

Alpine Loop

We have always heard how beautiful the Alpine loop is during the fall. We finally made it this year before the leaves were gone.We stopped at a small waterfall along the way and Hannah put her toes in. She loved it till she realized it was cold.

The mix of snow on the mountain peaks and colors were beautiful.

Love these too!!

I loved how the trees arched over the road most of the way.

Love this little girl!! It's hard to have a bad day with her around. She keeps me smiling all day long.

Successful trip to the park!

This times Hannah loved the park. I think she would have stayed swinging for hours if I let her. We also enjoyed the slides and exploring in the grass. The park has become our new favorite place to go to play or have a picnic.

It was so funny to see her hair sticking up from the static...She loved the slide!

We had fun going down the slide together

Summer Water Adventures

We tried to take advantage of our "Pass of All Passes" we got last year which included Seven Peaks Water Park. Hannah loved the "Lazy River" but didn't care for the kiddie park because the water was cold. We will try again next year!

We went to the lake with some friends. Hannah didn't care for the cold water but enjoyed hanging out on the beach with us. Robert and Aleasha enjoyed the wave runners..It was the first time for both of us and we had a blast. Such a relaxing and fun weekend! (expect for the fact we hit a deer on our way there. Luckily it only damaged our side mirror)

Hannah's First Trip to the Park

We quickly realized that she doesn't like the sun in her eyes.

Cool Shades

Hannah loves her new shades. She is now prepared to face the sun (plus she looks so cute)

Oh yea!!! Lovin' my new shades

Hannah's first ride in the shopping cart

Hannah loved being able to look around while we went shopping. She is getting better and better as sitting up with little help and on her own. She is also practicing rolling over. It is hard to believe how fast she is growing.
