Hannah's Steps
Hannah has been walking all over in her walker or holding somebody's finger since about May. She has been soo close to walking by herself for several months but wasn't confident in "letting go" of my hand. I was reassured that at some point as a teenager she will be letting go and I will be the one not wanting to let go...  Once she got more confidence there was no stopping her. Now every time she falls down she says "Up, Up"..We just love watching her change everyday.
Aleasha went outside to change the water outside. When she came in Hannah was standing up. This was the first time she pulled herself up. (June 2012)
Now that Hannah can pull herself up and stand she loves looking out the windows. She always waves at her dad when he leaves to work.
Hannah has been getting better and better at pulling herself up. She loves to dance to her music!!
Hannah loves walking EVERYWHERE...as long as she is holding onto someones hand. (July 2012)
Hannah has gotten better at walking with her push toy. She gets so excited when she succeeds (Aug 2012)

Hannah was pulling herself up on things and walking along things. She would walk a long time if someone was holding her hands but would freeze and sit down the moment you let go. This was the first time she took steps by herself and the last day she ever needed to hold somebody's hand.

After a day of walking back and forth we put Hannah on the ground and asked if she wanted to take a bath. She said "yeah, yeah". She then walked down the hall and into her bathroom. We were all amazed since she had only taken a few steps before. That was the end of needing help walking. This is what she does all day long. Just walks from one end of the house to the other and all over the backyard.
Hannah playing with her friend. I always think she is so big till I see her with other children her age.. We love our petite little Hannah. She has a BIG place in our hearts!!!
Like every child her age; Hannah loves bubbles. She loves that she can chase them now.

We built a fort and Hannah loved walking under it.
Hannah at the Dinosaur museum She loved to be able to walk around to explore everything. Aug 28, 2012
She loves her water. Now she carries it around with her all day.
We love going swimming at the Lehi Legacy Center. Hannah seems to enjoy it more that she can walk around in the kiddie area. Sep 20, 2012

 San Diego

We spent a week in San Diego with Robert's family. We had such a great time sight seeing, visiting with each other, watching the olympics and all the kids playing together. Besides the sunburns and sicknesses it was a wonderful week.
Hannah and Rowan..she just loved spending time with her cousins.
The night we arrived (July 28th) we went to Sea World for a bit. We all loved watching all the animals there.

 Mormon Battalion Museum

On Sunday, July 29th we went to the Mormon Battalion Museum. It was a nice refresh on the pioneers and all they did to set the stage for us today.

 San Diego Zoo

We had a nice time at the zoo. Hannah loved seeing the animals, waving to them and getting anyone who was willing to let her walk.

Hannah relaxing in the hammock and the rental house.

The Beach

Hannah loved the beach. She loved walking on the sand, putting her feet in the water and exploring in the sand.
Robert and his dad relaxing in the sun

Hannah started getting sleeping and would lay her head down on the sand for a minute then sit up and smile.

Happy Birthday!!!

It was my birthday while we were there. All the kids put together a scavenger hunt for me to find my presents. It was so much fun especially to watch their faces as I went a hunting for more clues.

Becky's birthday was the day after mine so we celebrated big with two cakes.  (One cheesecake and a chocolate cake)
Hannah loved exploring all over the rental house. She was all over the place; inside and out.

 Wild Animal Park

It was really neat to see the animals in their element. I loved that they had more room to move around in a more natural environment.
Feeding the birds. Hannah loves birds and always points to them in the air. She was loving having one so close.
Hannah loved the carousel. The last time we tried she cried and would only let me hold her. This time I found one that didn't go up and down. That was the ticket...She loved it!
Tickle, Tickle! Hannah was loving getting a tickle from her cousin. They were so cute on the ride home.
After we returned home our garden had gone wild. The plants double or tripled in size and we had tons of produce.

Hannah in her pool. She absolutely loves water and always wants to swim. She has now figured out how to climb in and out.

Books, books and more books...

Hannah loves books and will take every opportunity she gets to have someone read to her.We read at least 8-10 books to her daily She especially loved having her Nonna read when she was down to visit us twice recently.

Practice, practice!! I have been having Hannah practice using a spoon. She loves to try and gets so exiting when she succeeds.
Hannah loves opening and closing the doggie door our safety gate we have at the top our our stairs. So far she hasn't tried to go through it. She just loves to put her arm through and point to the front door and throw toys down the stairs.
Hannah and her daddy!!
Hannah practicing standing on her own. We still have to help her get up to the couch. She is too short to reach anything on her own.
Hannah exploring with the grape scented playdough we made.

Problem: Wanting to eat the playdough
Solution: Put her pacifier in! She has been good at keeping it in her bed till nap times but in situation like this it come out for a bit

Hannah snuggling with her daddy after he came home from work
   Wyoming trip
Aleasha's cousin graduated from high school this year and we went down for the graduation.
Hannah taking a spin on the 4-wheeler

Hannah loved running all over in her walker and especially chasing people with it. Here she was chasing her cousin Hailey.
This girl loved Hannah and Hannah loved her. She was a friend of Aleasha's cousin's cousin... She came and got Hannah as soon as we walked in the house with her.

 The cousins!
Hannah and Hailey had a great time playing with each other. Hailey loved helping Hannah eat.

Hannah did so good sitting through the graduation. She was making everyone around her smile. She also loved sitting on the bench next to Aleasha.

 Exploration:
Hannah loves exploring and has such a great curiosity about everything around her. She loved seeing what objects would fit inside the cup.

Hannah loved jumping on the trampoline with her Grammy.

This sign over the "Organic Potatoes" cracked me up and I had to take a picture
I have never seen potato start told in a grocery store before.I throw away my potoatoes when they look like this. Here they sell them. I guess I can start keeping my potatoes now and just start growing them  :)
 Sinks Canyon
This has some awesome sights to see. First we stopped at an overlook showing HUGE fish in the river.
All the guys were gone so we had a girl's day out!
Here is one view of the fish. There were hundreds of fish in this area. Keep in mind this is from our view some 100 feet or so up.
These are a few close ups of the fish. Too bad we couldn't go fishing!!

This is on the other side of the road from where we saw the fish. The water flows through this canyon and then come out where we saw the fish. They don't know how deep this is because they haven't been able to tell. They have done a dye test to see how long it takes to come out. Based on how close they are they thought it should only take a few minutes but it took hours. They have tried to dive down but could only go so far.
Hannah testing out the water. She loved it at first but then her feet got cold.

Hannah giving her Grammy a kiss. She sure loves giving kisses!
  The lake
Aleasha's cousins and their friends went camping at the lake. We went up to see them and Hannah enjoyed walking in the water. We were also there long enough for someone to catch a fish. We took it back home and had fish for dinner.

Aleasha got to ride on the jet ski and loved it!! The lake was very rough which made for a more adventurous and wet ride. As long as we went fast over the waves we didn't get too wet. As soon was we slowed down or stopped we got drenched. It wasn't bad once my whole body went numb.

Aleasha's cousins..

 Garden Fresh
We have been enjoying our radishes and lettuce from our garden. It is so nice to just be able to go outside and get however much we need and whenever we want it.

 Family Night at the temple
We enjoyed a picnic for Family Home Evening on the Timpanogos Temple grounds
I love this picture of Hannah smiling at her daddy!

She kept seeing the shadow of the flag and would sit at watch it.
Hannah and her daddy!! I just love them both

Hannah loved crawling in the grass AND trying the eat all the dirt clods.

Hannah has started shaking her head for everything. It is the cutest thing and her facial expression are so funny!! I can say that now since she doesn't yet totally comprehend what it means. She didn't however shake here head at one of her favorite things to do..Go for a walk in her walker. She would spend hours in it if I let her. She gets so upset when I take her out for a break. She is so funny in it she goes all over the house and runs and runs chatting along the way.
( I realized after I had done the video that I had done it sideways..bummer)
