Books, books and more books...

Hannah loves books and will take every opportunity she gets to have someone read to her.We read at least 8-10 books to her daily She especially loved having her Nonna read when she was down to visit us twice recently.

Practice, practice!! I have been having Hannah practice using a spoon. She loves to try and gets so exiting when she succeeds.
Hannah loves opening and closing the doggie door our safety gate we have at the top our our stairs. So far she hasn't tried to go through it. She just loves to put her arm through and point to the front door and throw toys down the stairs.
Hannah and her daddy!!
Hannah practicing standing on her own. We still have to help her get up to the couch. She is too short to reach anything on her own.
Hannah exploring with the grape scented playdough we made.

Problem: Wanting to eat the playdough
Solution: Put her pacifier in! She has been good at keeping it in her bed till nap times but in situation like this it come out for a bit

Hannah snuggling with her daddy after he came home from work
   Wyoming trip
Aleasha's cousin graduated from high school this year and we went down for the graduation.
Hannah taking a spin on the 4-wheeler

Hannah loved running all over in her walker and especially chasing people with it. Here she was chasing her cousin Hailey.
This girl loved Hannah and Hannah loved her. She was a friend of Aleasha's cousin's cousin... She came and got Hannah as soon as we walked in the house with her.

 The cousins!
Hannah and Hailey had a great time playing with each other. Hailey loved helping Hannah eat.

Hannah did so good sitting through the graduation. She was making everyone around her smile. She also loved sitting on the bench next to Aleasha.

 Exploration:
Hannah loves exploring and has such a great curiosity about everything around her. She loved seeing what objects would fit inside the cup.

Hannah loved jumping on the trampoline with her Grammy.

This sign over the "Organic Potatoes" cracked me up and I had to take a picture
I have never seen potato start told in a grocery store before.I throw away my potoatoes when they look like this. Here they sell them. I guess I can start keeping my potatoes now and just start growing them  :)
 Sinks Canyon
This has some awesome sights to see. First we stopped at an overlook showing HUGE fish in the river.
All the guys were gone so we had a girl's day out!
Here is one view of the fish. There were hundreds of fish in this area. Keep in mind this is from our view some 100 feet or so up.
These are a few close ups of the fish. Too bad we couldn't go fishing!!

This is on the other side of the road from where we saw the fish. The water flows through this canyon and then come out where we saw the fish. They don't know how deep this is because they haven't been able to tell. They have done a dye test to see how long it takes to come out. Based on how close they are they thought it should only take a few minutes but it took hours. They have tried to dive down but could only go so far.
Hannah testing out the water. She loved it at first but then her feet got cold.

Hannah giving her Grammy a kiss. She sure loves giving kisses!
  The lake
Aleasha's cousins and their friends went camping at the lake. We went up to see them and Hannah enjoyed walking in the water. We were also there long enough for someone to catch a fish. We took it back home and had fish for dinner.

Aleasha got to ride on the jet ski and loved it!! The lake was very rough which made for a more adventurous and wet ride. As long as we went fast over the waves we didn't get too wet. As soon was we slowed down or stopped we got drenched. It wasn't bad once my whole body went numb.

Aleasha's cousins..

 Garden Fresh
We have been enjoying our radishes and lettuce from our garden. It is so nice to just be able to go outside and get however much we need and whenever we want it.

 Family Night at the temple
We enjoyed a picnic for Family Home Evening on the Timpanogos Temple grounds
I love this picture of Hannah smiling at her daddy!

She kept seeing the shadow of the flag and would sit at watch it.
Hannah and her daddy!! I just love them both

Hannah loved crawling in the grass AND trying the eat all the dirt clods.

Hannah has started shaking her head for everything. It is the cutest thing and her facial expression are so funny!! I can say that now since she doesn't yet totally comprehend what it means. She didn't however shake here head at one of her favorite things to do..Go for a walk in her walker. She would spend hours in it if I let her. She gets so upset when I take her out for a break. She is so funny in it she goes all over the house and runs and runs chatting along the way.
( I realized after I had done the video that I had done it sideways..bummer)

Hannah doing what she loves...reading books and playing music.
 Trip to Farmington
Aleasha and Hannah went to Farmington to surprise Aleasha's mom for Mother's Day
Rhien Family Dinner: Hannah was loving all the attention..especially since she was read books.
Hannah has started pointing at everything. Things she see's or wants.

I scream, you scream, Hannah screams for ice cream
Hannah had her first ice cream from her Nonno. They shared a Strawberry Banana Blizzard from Dairy Queen. When it was all gone she started yelling.
I love how she keeps her mouth open in anticipation for her bite. We started out inside but it was so cold from the air conditioner that we had to move outside. Hannah's lips were turning blue because it was so cold.

More Dairy Queen. Hannah helped Aleasha eat a Butterscotch ice cream while playing at the park.

Hannah with her Great Aunt Nita and Great Grandma Baker
Hannah and Aleasha went and had lunch with Hannah's cousin Kyle. She loved seeing all the other kids.
Hannah looking up at Pappa. She soon crashed after crawling around for a long time.
