Hannah is now 10 months old. We can hardly believe how fast time has gone by. At her check up on February 23 she weighted 12lbs 10.5 oz and is now 25 inches long.

Hannah loves singing Pat A Cake..She had now learned how to clap her hands (Before she would always just hit her belly)

Hannah knows who her Daddy and Dogs are. She loved to day "Hi Dada" when she sees her Daddy. She also started saying "Dod" when she sees the dogs. If I ask her where her Dad or Dogs are she will look around till she finds them. It's so fun to watch her awareness of things though she might not be able to verbalize everything.

Exploring snow

When it snowed last week I brought some in and let Hannah explore. She loved it till her hands got cold.

Out on our deck

I love having our small deck upstairs. It's so nice to be able to take Hannah out and get some fresh air. She loves to look out at the other houses and animals next door.

We love seeing her personality come out and watch all the different expressions on her face. She keeps us smiling!

Hannah is getting good at going from sitting to her belly when she wants to get something.

She does prefer her back though. She is rolling all around now and always makes the expression below while rolling over: PREPARE FOR LANDING.."Here I go..I hope this doesn't hurt".

Outdoor Adventures

We have had some beautiful weather lately and have taken advantage of being outside.

Robert and Hannah played while I tackled the rose bushes. They were seriously huge; as you can see from the pile I cut off. Below is the end result. I also extended the area and put my strawberry plant on one end. I love working in the yard and can't wait to do more.

Hannah played and played outside for a few hours. She came inside and played a little bit then crashed. Usually she just wants her bed and doesn't like to be be rocked to sleep. Today she was so tired she fell asleep fast.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Robert got me a beautiful plant for Valentine's Day. He knows me well. I love getting plants that will last and I can enjoy longer than just flowers. They still look this good today!

Hannah loved making her valentines. By the time she was done it was all over her face. We will definatly have to do more art projects.

9 months old
It is hard to believe that Hannah is already 9 months old. It seems like yesterday that she was born yet that she's been in our life forever. Children are truly one of life's greatest treasures.

Hannah is sweet, funny, happy and always moving in one way or another. She is very self entertained yet loves to sit and "chat" with anyone near her. She loves to roll from her belly to back but isn't very interesting in rolling from her back to belly (though she can). She isn't yet crawling but loves to stand up and does will while holding onto things.

She currently has 8 teeth that have broke through her gums and she loves feeling them and biting on everything. She hasn't quite learned that biting her finger isn't the best idea. She will be chewing away and start crying because she has bit her finger hard but keeps her finger in her mouth still biting it. She has this look like "what is happening?".

Don't let her tiny size mislead you.. she loves to eat!!!! Now that has teeth she loves pieces of just about anything she can chew (bananas, blueberries, cheerios, bread, pasta, green beans, etc).

One of her favorite things to do is play peek-a-boo in her high chair. She will turn her head so that she can't see you then turn around and just crack up.
